I made one of Paula Deen’s Sweetened Teas. Here is the recipe:
7 luzianne or tetley teabags
8 cups water
1 cup sugar
sprigs of mint
lemon wedges
Bring 4 cups water to a boil. Add tea bags and turn the heat off immediately. Cover and let steep for 1 hour. Remove the tea bags and pour into a pitcher. Add the cup of sugar and stir until it is mixed. Only after sugar is added, then pour 4 cups of ice cold water into pitcher. Give a quick stir. Serve over ice with sprigs of mint and lemon wedges to garnish.
I got the idea to try Paul’s from sairberry. I will be making Paula Deen’s simple syrup sweetened tea later this week. Enjoy!

I made a bunless cheese burger for lunch today with a side of greens. Yummy! I used monster cheese and worchestershire sauce.

lilcaits:

Personally, I think number 3 sounds the best, but I will have to try some of them out for an official opinion.

Oh gosh, I’m totally trying all 10 ways this weekend. I love that!

Hey Y'all

Tonight I baked some blueberry, cherry, and cranberry scones. They smell soooo yummy! I can’t wait to have one for breakfast with some tea.
